Scholarships
The Washington City/County Management Association (WCMA) is accepting applications for the WCMA Fellowship for the 2026-2027 academic year.
For students with a desire to work in a leadership role in City or County Government, the WCMA Fellowship includes:
- $5,000 towards your 2026-2027 graduate school education.
- Complimentary one-year student membership to WCMA.
- Complimentary registration and two night’s lodging (not to exceed $500) toward the WCMA Summer Conference in Kennewick (August 11-14).
- Mentoring by an active professional city or county manager.
Note: International City/County Management Association (ICMA) may offer complimentary membership and discounted attendance at their annual conference, held this year in Long Beach, CA from October 17-21, 2026
Eligible applicants must:
- Reside in Washington State.
- Have a Bachelor's degree.
- Be enrolled in or accepted for admission to a graduate school.
- Demonstrate a commitment to pursue a career in local government.
