Building Resilient Local Governments Certificate Program
Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis for the new Building Resilient Local Governments Graduate Certificate Program, a new partnership between the Washington City/County Management Association (WCMA) and the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, University of Washington. This program has been in the works for nearly two years and is the result of the hard work of the WCMA Board of Directors and the leadership team at the Evans School!
The program is a 15-credit graduate certificate program for local government professionals looking to grow their skills and knowledge. Current WCMA members will receive an Evans School fellowship covering 1/3 of the tuition (around $4,000!) and students who complete the certificate program are eligible to apply for admission to the Executive Master of Public Administration program and to carry over 10-12 of the credits toward their MPA degree. The program will be primarily virtual, and conducted on evenings and weekends, to accommodate the work schedules of cohort members from around the state.
Please spread the word, referring others who might be good candidates to this amazing opportunity! Apply here! Please contact evansadm@uw.edu with any questions.
The WCMA is proud to make history as the first ICMA affiliate in the country to sign an affiliate agreement with I-NAPA.
